Making things fun again
Have you ever worked very hard on a task and quit easily because you weren't seeing much progress? I know I have and on multiple occasions too. My most recent was starting Twitch streaming. I would stare at my list of followers and viewers and complain why I wasn't as good as other streamers but the reality was that I was in the wrong mindset. The main reason people stream is for fun, not to try and squeeze out as much followers as possible. This is true for all social media platforms too that involve obtaining a following such as Youtube, Instagram, and Twitter. At the end of the day, the number of followers doesn't mean anything unless you fulfill your purpose of using these applications which is ultimately to have fun, learn, and make memories!
I believe when you view platforms with that kind of mindset everything becomes less intimidating to use and enjoy. It can be applied to a person who is tired of their job too. Lets examine why a person feels tired of their job. It can be usually due to comparing their job position in an organization or comparing their pay to others or staring at other people around them with much better jobs. Comparisons breed discontent for what we currently possess. Adults are more easily prone to these moments as much as kids are when they want to buy the latest video game or toy just because all of their friends have one and seem to be having fun and enjoying themselves. However, that is the key, actually learning to have fun and enjoy yourself with what you currently have.
Learning to be content with everything you currently possess in life and finding ways to just focus on having fun and learning throughout the process will place you in a better position for long term activity in any endeavor. You don't have to see tremendous progress immediately but you can see something boring becoming fun!
I hope you find something helpful here!
